Submit a copyright notice

Use our copyright and rights notice form. A complete DMCA notice should include your physical or electronic signature; identify the copyrighted work (or a representative list of works); identify the material you want removed and enough information for us to locate it; provide your name, address, telephone number and email; state that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and state, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.

We may request missing information. We review notices and may remove or disable access to material where appropriate. We may notify the user who posted the material and provide them a copy of the notice, including your contact details, as permitted by law.

Counter-notices

If material you posted was removed or disabled because of a copyright notice and you believe that happened by mistake or misidentification, use our counter-notice form. A complete counter-notice should identify the removed material and where it appeared before removal; include your physical or electronic signature, name, address and telephone number; state under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed because of mistake or misidentification; consent to the jurisdiction of the applicable U.S. Federal District Court (or, if outside the United States, a district where the service provider may be found); and agree to accept service of process from the original complainant or their agent.

We will forward a valid counter-notice to the complainant. Under the DMCA, material may be restored between 10 and 14 business days after forwarding unless we first receive notice that the complainant has filed a court action seeking to restrain the user from the allegedly infringing activity. A counter-notice does not itself guarantee restoration.

Repeat infringers

We may suspend or terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright, taking account of the circumstances and applicable law.
